**Description**


When specified, the surrogate model will be exported (or imported)
using a binary archive format.

Experimental surrogates will export to (import from) binary archives
named ``{prefix}``.{response_descriptor}.bin.

Other (Surfpack) surrogates will export/import using files named
``{prefix}``.{response_descriptor}.bsps, in which
'bsps' stands for binary Surfpack surrogate.

naming.
